Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage - Jennifer Ashley Ever since Isabella and Mac were introduced in The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie, I was dying to read their story, but it didn't turn out to be as great as I'd expected.

The plot and characters are still as wonderful as they were in the previous book, but I couldn't really bring myself to care about either Isabella or Mac. Their story is sweet, romantic, cute, amazing, and, at times, heart-wrenching, but nothing close to the romance between Beth and Ian. I found this book to be rather predictable with no character development. The characters are the same on the first page as they are on the last, except with fewer misunderstandings between them.

Hopefully Cam's story will have more character development and plot twists.
