The first thing that came to my mind when I got a grip on the storyline: refreshing. This book is lighthearted, but not so much that you lost interest altogether, interesting, but not too original, cliched, but like I said, also very refreshing, and utterly captivating. I loved Mercy from the first page onwards and Adam as soon as he's introduced. Samuel didn't do much for me, but he's sure to play an important role later on so I won't judge him completely yet. The ending had me grinning and I love that after all the boring books I've read recently. Can't wait to read Blood Bound next!
